Growing Strong For Over 35 Years

Systel Business Equipment Co., Inc. was founded on November 1, 1981 by current President and CEO Keith Allison.  Starting out of a small house converted to an office with only a few employees, the company has grown exponentially in 35+ years and continues to prosper. Even though we’re larger in size and profitability, we still hold true to our roots and even operate our Corporate Headquarters from the original office location at 2604 Fort Bragg Road in Fayetteville, NC.  Now, Systel has over 250 employees (95 Technical and Service Technicians) with ten locations throughout North Carolina (servicing all 100 counties) and Georgia. We provide office equipment and services to over 15,000 businesses and organizations.

The company has become the Southeast's largest independent dealer of office automation equipment. Systel sells, services and leases copiers, printers and other office equipment, as well as provides document management services. Large corporate, government and military clients make up the bulk of the business.  

In a mature industry where many of its competitors are struggling financially, Systel has grown nearly 50% since 2009 recognizing revenues of over $60M. Systel is a financially strong company, growing in revenues and profitability due to the cost saving solutions and business process improvements it offers to its customers. Although we may have become a multi-million dollar company, our passionate, results-oriented employees remain committed to putting our customers first.

This growth became possible thanks to Keith’s service-centric vision: From day one, he has believed in approaching customer service not as a one-time goal but as an ongoing relationship. Under his leadership, Systel has become known for its commitment to innovation, quality and attention to detail.
